Part of the Monsters and Masks series

Unmasking the Troll

She came to Iceland looking for forgotten monsters. She found a love story instead.

Professor Dana has spent her career proving myths and legends belong to everyone, not just scholars locked away in libraries. Her latest research project, The Forgotten Monsters of Iceland, is supposed to help secure her academic future—not lead her straight to a very real troll.

Eirikr prefers books to people and history to the uncertainties of real life. He’s spent centuries preserving Iceland’s stories while secretly writing Viking romances under a human pen name. Falling in love is something he writes about, not something he intends to experience.

Until Dana.

Thanks to his twin brother’s spectacularly misguided matchmaking scheme, Dana and Eirikr are thrown together among ancient legends, hidden archives, and more than a few secrets.

But when mating marks appear and the truth finally comes out, they’ll have to decide whether their growing feelings are just another story...

Or the happily ever after neither of them expected.
